Hi, I'm ashley

[SEPTEMBER 2022 GIVEAWAY POST]

What is Fibroblast Plasma? This is one of my most asked questions. Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening is a Non-Invasive skin tightening and lifting procedure that is taking the beauty world by storm.

The procedure can be used on any area of your body where you would like

•fine lines erased,

•wrinkles diminished and

•your skin tighter.

How and why does this work?

To understand how this works I need to help you understand how collagen works. We have all heard the term COLLAGEN thrown around lately. “Take this collagen”. “No, take this collagen, that one isn’t good for you!” It can be overwhelming out there is the world of collagen sales. But I’m sure you’ve heard it a time or two…or 1,000.

But what does collagen do?

Collagen provides structure, support or strength to your skin, muscles, bones and connective tissues. When we start to see fine lines and wrinkles appear our “structure and support” of our skin is diminishing. Without a strong support system in our skin our structure starts to show cracks or wrinkles in our skin and that is when we notice and start to feel that we look old. But our body actually makes its own…we just need to know how to tap into it.

As you age your body naturally decreases its collagen production. This is why a new baby can have thick, bouncy cheeks and we can look in the mirror and see thinning, wrinkled skin. We are decreasing the amount of collage that we make which is why these collagen companies have seemed to blow up overnight.

Taking collagen is good in theory most aren’t actually absorbed by the body which is literally you pissing (sorry for the foul language) your money away. If it isn’t going to be absorbed why would we buy it? Exactly.

Fibroblast Skin Tightening is named after a Fibroblast which is found deep within your skin. Anytime you use a retinol or AHA you are targeting your Fibroblasts in your skin.

A Fibroblast is in charge of making collagen.

Biggest thing you need to know about a Fibroblast is that it is not continuously working to make collagen. It only starts to work when needed.

How is a Fibroblast needed?

A Fibroblast is needed anytime we have a wound. As soon as we get a cut or a scrape or some type of wound to the skin the Fibroblasts go to work. Think of a Fibroblast as a soldier. When there is trouble, aka a wound that has happened, the soldier goes to the wound. On the way to the wound it wakes up all of its other soldier buddies on the way to the wound and they all go with one mission “Heal the Wound”. When they go into mission “Heal the Wound” they create collagen to regenerate cells. This cell regeneration fortifies the area and the new collagen production begins.

New collagen goes through different stages but once the collagen matures (approximately 12 weeks) you are left with permanent beautiful collagen that is fortifying, tightening, and plumping your skin back to its youthful looking self.

The Procedure

Now that we know what a Fibroblast is and the collagen cycle I have posted a video below that I have found that covers the procedure better then any other video out there. As this is not my practice, (I am a fully trained, certified, and fully insured specialist) I wanted you to see exactly what the procedure is like and this videos does a wonderful job of showing you everything about the procedure beautifully.
