Are you searching for real answers on how much you can make as a lash artist? Well, I’m here to get really real with you. Let’s run some quick numbers.
Lash artist’s 2 main services will be a Full Set of Lashes or a FILL set of lashes.
A Full set of lashes is the initial appointment to go from zero lashes to a beautiful full new set.
A fill set is your client’s lash maintenance. This will be a reoccurring appointment every 2-3 weeks. Your client should be following proper aftercare and it should be no problem for them to come back with a minimum of 40-50% of their lashes still remaining. (if they come in with less of a percentage you should be charging for a new set because of the time and effort it will take you to do the service)
A full set can be anywhere from $100-$300+. In the beginning, you will probably take anywhere from 2.5-4ish hours on a full set (classic or volume styling).
A fill set can be anywhere from $60-$150+. In the beginning, you will probably take anywhere from 1.5-2 hours but will settle anywhere from 1 hr to 1.5hr fill times.
All artist’s times will be different. They will range from experience to client. It is important in the beginning to have realistic expectations of how long it will take you to do a service. While you’re learning you may only be able to take one client. You will get faster, and your sets will get prettier. Like I said I will ALWAYS keep it real with you. Below we will break down how these figures actually look.
